About This qualification

Get qualified in painting and decorating for residential and commercial construction work. The qualification has units of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry as well as a specialist field of work. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1OO1A covers this requirement.

Admission Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or above
  • Student must complete CPCCWHS1001-Prepare to work safely in the construction industry unit
  • LLN assessment (Learning (ACSF Level 3), reading (ACSF Level 3), writing (ACSF Level 2), oral communication (ACSF Level 3) and numeracy (ACSF Level 3) are desirable to participate in the course.
